Karnataka: The snake expert Snake Shyam’s son Suryakeerthi who has also gained expertise in rescuing the snakes has successfully rescued a 13 feet long ‘King Cobra’ snake at Kodagu district of Karnataka.
After many efforts, Surya rescued the king cobra snake which was hidden inside the tyre kept in the house owned by Bopayya at Murnadu village near Kodagu. Later, with the help of the forest personnel, he released this snake at the forest area in Bhagamandala.
Snake expert Prajwal who is popular in Kodagu for rescuing snakes had informed Suryakeerthi by making a phone call to rescue this snake.
Without delay, Suryakeerthi rushed the place and rescued the snake. Suryakeethi who is an expert in handling the King Cobra snakes has appealed to local people to inform him if come across this snake again.
MS Balasubramanya, father of Suryakeerthi also known as Snake Shyam rescues and rehabilitates snakes and educates the public about them. He is also featured in the National Geographic channel.
