Playing with the poisonous snake all just to shoot a video to make its sensation has turned costlier to the young snake catcher in Karnataka. This 21-year-old snake catcher Majh Sayyed of Kasurba Nagar in Sirsi town of Uttara Kannada district was bitten by a Cobra snake.
This incident took place near Devarahole in Sirsi on March 13. In an attempt to make a video of him playing with the three snakes caught by him landed him in danger after one of the Cobra of three snakes bit him. A video of Majh being bitten by a snake has gone viral on social media.
After the snake bite, the youth was rushed to the private hospital at Sirsi. Presently, he is being treated and out of danger.
Majh said that rescuing snakes is his passion. Recently, he had rescued three snakes in a single day. However, I wanted to shoot a video of me with the snakes before I released them into the forests. I wanted to upload a video on youtube,’ he said.
The senior forest officer has warned the people not to indulge in such a negligent act of playing with the snake while tweeting this video.
