Year 2020-21, recorded total 557 new species of living organs in India

India : In a surprising findings, a total 557 new species of living organs were found in India in the year. What more interesting is 407 species are new and 150 species have found for the first time in India, including 24 from Maharashtra. The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) have revealed these facts in its latest report. 

To brief you in detail, the 23.39 % land of India is covered by forest and semi forests. Numerous species of floura and founa are living in these forest land.

We are still dont know many living organs in these forests. 

ZSI releases the ‘Animal Discovories new species record’ report every year. It has released its research report of the year 2020.

It has registered the 557 new species of living organs that include insect, aquatic, amphibians, birds, organs leaving in sea, reptiles etc. 

What more exciting is, the highest species of the newly identified organs found in Karnataka and Kerala. Total of 69 new species in Karnataka, 61 in Kerala, 59 in Rajasthan, 44 in West Bengal, 41 in Andaman have been found. This number is highest in past four years.
